About Us
Michigan Online School is an online public charter school authorized by Gobles Public Schools in Gobles, Michigan. Since January 2018, Michigan Online School has offered education entirely online to students in grades K-12 in the great state of Michigan. Michigan Online School is governed by an independent Board of Directors who oversee the financial solubility and academic performance of the school and its students.
Why Michigan Online School?
Receiving a quality education is every individual’s first real job in life. Students who complete high school and earn their diploma show commitment, focus, and work ethic to potential employers. These qualities vastly increase their career opportunities.
Leading a fulfilling adult life is more challenging without a diploma. In today’s tech-centric job market, employers are less impressed by a GED than in previous years. Also, certain military branches require a high school diploma for entry. Even in branches that don’t require it, not having a diploma can significantly reduce advancement opportunities.
Yet, a traditional brick-and-mortar school doesn’t always fit the needs of every student. For many, an online school is the best option to get the high-quality education they deserve. And for some, it might be the only option.
Portrait of a Graduate
Our school has been on a journey to determine the foundational qualities we believe all Michigan Online Students should possess to succeed in school, their communities, and their future endeavors. This journey led us to these 6 essential competencies for our Phoenixes.

Enjoy seeing my daughter happy because she goes online through Michigan Online School. She always gets help she needs and teachers are attentive!
We have been with you guys for 3 years and I feel like you have helped in ways I couldn't. The staff are amazing and I love this online school
This school does an excellent job with teaching and is always right on top of emails or texts I send. My student is special needs, and they give him all the help he needs.
This is the best online school out there. You don’t get as much as support anywhere else.
This is a great experience for my children because they are scared to go to in-person public school and the knowledge that they are being taught on life is very informative. They have more one-on-one help, so thank you for this new experience!
